Personal Injury Senior Case Manager-Spanish Speaking

Braff Law Firm is currently seeking an experienced Case Manager to join our dedicated team in Woodland Hills, California. The ideal candidate must have at least 4 years of experience in case management, specifically within personal injury law.

Job Description:

As a Case Manager at Braff Law Firm, you will play a crucial role in our Personal Injury team, working on Car Accident and Slip and Fall cases. You will be responsible for overseeing the case file management process from start to finish, ensuring efficient and effective communication with our clients, and maintaining the integrity of our case files.

Job Duties:

• Managing case files from intake to closure, ensuring all relevant documents and information are properly filed and updated.
• Directly interacting with clients, insurance companies, medical providers, and legal professionals on a daily basis.
• Using our case management software, Filevine, to track and update case information.
• Medical Records Management: Requesting, reviewing, and summarizing medical records and bills. Coordinating with medical providers to ensure timely receipt of records and liens.
• Settlement Assistance: Assisting attorneys in preparing demand packages and settlement proposals. Coordinating disbursements and lien negotiations with healthcare providers.
• Pre-Litigation Support: Monitoring statute of limitations deadlines and case progress timelines.
• Client Onboarding: Handling client intake calls and ensuring thorough onboarding of new clients.
• Case Evaluation: Identifying potential challenges or opportunities in cases and communicating them to attorneys.
• Providing timely and empathetic client service, addressing questions and concerns, and keeping clients informed about their case status.
• Assisting in the preparation of demands and reviewing all medical records/bills.
• Collaborating with attorneys to ensure effective case progression.
• Participating in annual performance reviews to assess productivity, job performance, and areas for improvement.

Required Qualifications and Skills:

• Minimum of 4 years of experience as a case manager or file handler for a personal injury plaintiff firm.
• Excellent organizational and multitasking abilities.
• Superior communication skills, both written and verbal.
• Comfortable working in a fast-paced, high-volume environment.
• Experience with Filevine or other legal case management software.
• Familiarity with personal injury law in California, including an understanding of the claims process and litigation procedures.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and ability to quickly learn new software.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to client service.
