Some state laws — including Washington's My Health My Data Act — require businesses that collect “consumer health data” to publish a policy describing those practices.
This page exists to state our position plainly: LawFirmHires does not collect consumer health data.
What LawFirmHires does
LawFirmHires is an employment platform: we publish job listings and career information for attorneys and legal staff who work in or want to work at law firms.
We do not provide health or medical services of any kind, and we do not provide legal services, give legal advice, or refer anyone to a lawyer.
The site's subject matter is careers in law firms — not your health.
What we do not collect
We do not collect, process, share, or sell consumer health data as defined by the Washington My Health My Data Act or similar state laws.
Specifically, we do not collect:
- health conditions, diagnoses, treatments, or medications;
- information about procedures sought or received;
- biometric or genetic data;
- precise geolocation data that could indicate an attempt to receive health services;
- any inference of the above from your browsing of the site.
Job seekers browse and apply without an account, and applications go directly to employers.
The limited information we do collect (from employers posting jobs, and standard technical request data) is described in our Privacy Policy .
If this changes
If our practices ever change in a way that involves consumer health data, we will update this policy before doing so and provide any notices and consent mechanisms the applicable law requires.
Questions or requests
If you believe we hold consumer health data about you, or you have any question about this policy, contact [email protected] and we will respond within the time required by the applicable law.
