Refund Policy

Effective date: June 11, 2026 · Last updated: June 11, 2026

A LawFirmHires listing is paid for once, with no subscription attached, and it is published the moment checkout completes.

Because candidates can see your opening right away, the window for a change-of-mind refund is brief. Anything we bill in error, we put right.

Always refunded in full

  • A second charge for a listing you already paid for.
  • A payment taken when a fault on our end kept the listing from being published.
  • A payment you never authorized, once we have verified it.

Changed your mind in the first 48 hours

Decide against the listing within 48 hours of buying it and we'll unpublish it and return the full amount, without asking for a reason.

After 48 hours

Past the 48-hour mark, the listing has done most of what you paid for, so the purchase can no longer be refunded.

Filling the role quickly doesn't change that. Should a paralegal sign your offer letter on day five, we'll take the posting down on request, though the unused part of the 30 days isn't credited back.

Unusual circumstances are still worth raising with us; each one gets an individual look.

Not refundable

  • Postings taken down for violating our Terms & Conditions (for example, deceptive, discriminatory, fraudulent or illegal postings).
  • Being unhappy with how many candidates applied or who they were. We publish and promote the opening; how many people apply, and whether you hire one of them, is outside what we can promise.

Asking for a refund

Write to [email protected] using the email you paid with, and include the position title plus the Stripe receipt number.

An approved refund goes back to the card or account you paid with; Stripe usually shows it within 5–10 business days, depending on the bank.
