About LawFirmHires

LawFirmHires lists legal jobs, mostly inside law firms, for everyone a firm employs. That means associates, partners and of counsel, but just as much the paralegals, legal assistants, legal secretaries, intake teams, receptionists, docketing and billing staff, and the administrators who run the office. In-house, government, prosecutor and public defender attorney roles are listed too.

Job seekers come here to find a firm worth joining. Firms come here to post an opening where the people reading it already work in legal. Nobody comes here to hire a lawyer for their own case, and we don't try to serve that need.

Why a board just for legal jobs

Search “paralegal” or “legal assistant” on a general job site and the results drift into compliance desks, insurance claims, title companies and staffing agencies with no firm named at all.

A small firm's opening for a litigation paralegal ends up competing with listings that only borrow the word “legal” for search traffic.

Narrowing the board to legal work makes both sides easier: candidates see legal employers, and firms see candidates who chose to look for legal jobs.

Legal careers also come with rules that general boards ignore.

Bar admission, continuing legal education, paralegal certificates and the line between what staff may do and what only a lawyer may do all shape who can fill a given seat, and the details vary by state.

Every listing, pay page and career guide on LawFirmHires stays inside that world.

Who I am

Gabriel Meierotto, Founder of LawFirmHires

Gabriel Meierotto

Founder, LawFirmHires

Editorial founder — not an attorney

I'm Gabriel Meierotto, and I started LawFirmHires and edit what it publishes.

Plainly: I am not a lawyer. I have no law degree, I'm not admitted to any bar, and I hold no paralegal certificate.

Nothing on LawFirmHires is legal advice, and no attorney–client relationship comes from reading it or writing to us.

What I work on is the hiring and publishing side: how firms find staff, how candidates find firms, and how to explain legal careers accurately.

Where a page describes bar rules, paralegal regulation or employment law, it leans on official sources rather than on my say-so.

How openings reach the board

Some openings are posted here directly by the hiring firm.

Others are collected from firms' own careers pages and public job feeds, and each of those links out to the original posting so you apply with the firm itself.

A Featured post is paid placement: it carries a Featured badge and shows above standard posts on matching role and city pages. Nothing else about the order is for sale, and no upgrade buys a fake ranking.

How the guides are checked

Bar admission, CLE, paralegal credentials and pay are subjects where a wrong detail can cost someone a filing deadline, a job offer or a year of planning.

These are the standards each guide is held to:

  • State-specific rules are traced to the source that sets them: the state bar or board of law examiners, the state supreme court’s rules, or the statute itself.
  • Pages that describe state rules show the date they were last checked.
  • Pay figures name their source, usually the Bureau of Labor Statistics wage survey, along with the BLS occupation behind them, since BLS has no separate wage for most specialty titles.
  • When a figure moves too often to pin down, the guide explains how it is set instead of printing a number that will age badly.

A page is only called attorney-reviewed if a named, licensed attorney actually reviewed it.

We don't invent reviewers or borrow credentials.

Career information here is general and educational.

For questions about your own admission, licensing or employment situation, go to your state bar or talk to a licensed attorney.
