What is Lawjobs.com?
Lawjobs.com is a legal job board that describes itself as part of ALM.
Its footer reads © Copyright ALM Global, LLC trading as Centellic, and the site says it powers job listings across the LAW.COM Network — the publication list it shows includes The American Lawyer, the National Law Journal, the New York Law Journal, Texas Lawyer and The Recorder.
Its job categories include attorney, associate, counsel, paralegal, legal secretary and administrative assistant, and it describes its audience as attorneys, paralegals, business development executives and legal professionals.
LawFirmHires is also a board built only for legal jobs, listing attorney roles — in-house, government, prosecutor and public defender openings included — alongside the staff roles around them.
Our fact sheet has the plain facts about us.
What does Lawjobs.com cost a law firm?
Lawjobs.com sells three per-job packages rather than a single listing price:
- Ultimate Reach — $1,299. A 60-day listing with a two-week ad on a desired ALM regional or national eNewsletter, a two-week print ad in a desired ALM newspaper, a spotlight in search results and complimentary distribution to its partner network.
- Extended Reach — $795. A 30-day listing with a two-week ad on a desired regional ALM eNewsletter.
- High Visibility — $695. A 30-day listing.
All three include full resume export, online management of jobs and applicant status, and distribution in the site's job-alert emails.
Two notes before you budget: the site's own offers page currently shows High Visibility at $765 rather than $695, and the Job Watch placement — your post in a bi-weekly email to a self-reported 6,000 to 7,000 active job seekers — is shown with the Ultimate Reach package.
What does LawFirmHires cost to post a job?
LawFirmHires prices per post, at launch pricing: $199 for a Standard post (regular $299) or $399 for a Featured post (regular $499), each live for 30 days.
A post is a one-time payment — it never renews and there is nothing to sign — and it is published the moment payment goes through, indexed in Google Jobs and shown on the matching role and city pages.
Firms that are always hiring can take a slot plan instead: $899 a month for up to 10 posts live at once, with the logo on every post, or $1,749 a month for up to 25 posts live at once, with Featured placement on every post.
Slot plans are arranged by contacting us, bill monthly and can be canceled whenever you choose.
Each role needs its own post, so an associate opening and a paralegal opening are listed separately.
Current prices are on the pricing page.
What do you actually get with each package or post?
On Lawjobs.com the deliverables scale with the package.
The top tier wraps the listing in ALM media — the eNewsletter and print ads, a search spotlight and partner-network distribution — and every tier includes online management of jobs and applicant status, detailed monthly performance reports and full resume export.
On LawFirmHires the deliverable is the listing itself: a post on the matching role and city pages plus Google Jobs indexing, with Featured adding your logo, a highlighted card, top-of-feed placement and a Featured badge.
Candidates who click Apply go to your firm's own form or inbox, and résumés, writing samples and references go straight to you — there are no candidate profiles and no résumé database.
Support edits a live post or pulls it once the role is filled, on request by email.
Reach versus focus: whose audience is on each board?
Lawjobs.com publishes reach numbers, and they are a genuine advantage.
It says its network reaches over 1.6 million professionals weekly, reaches 99% of the NLJ 250, carries over 1,200 jobs available daily, and that 97% of employers and recruiters who partner with it return — all self-reported.
LawFirmHires publishes no reach or results numbers, and no testimonials.
On that we will be direct: if a published audience figure is what you need before spending, Lawjobs.com has one and we do not, and that gap favours Lawjobs.com.
What LawFirmHires offers instead is a board where attorney openings sit next to paralegal, legal assistant, secretary, intake, docketing, billing and firm-administration openings, at a flat per-post price.
Which board fits which role?
Lawjobs.com fits attorney searches where a Law.com-network audience and print exposure matter: the $1,299 Ultimate Reach package is the one that bundles an ALM eNewsletter ad and a print ad with the listing, while $795 buys a 30-day listing with a regional ALM eNewsletter ad.
LawFirmHires fits the staff side of the firm: paralegals, legal assistants, legal secretaries, intake, docketing, billing, eDiscovery and administration have their own role pages among its 47, and a budget-sensitive attorney post is $199 one-time at launch pricing.
A firm could reasonably use both — a premium attorney campaign on the network board, staff roles on the flat-fee legal board.
Which one should you choose?
Choose Lawjobs.com if…
- You are recruiting attorneys and want an ALM eNewsletter ad and an ALM newspaper print ad with the listing — the Ultimate Reach package bundles both.
- A Law.com-network audience matters for the role: the site says it powers job listings across the LAW.COM Network and, self-reported, reaches 99% of the NLJ 250.
- You want resumes handled inside the board: all three packages include full resume export, online management of jobs and applicant status, and detailed monthly performance reports.
- A 60-day listing window is worth the package price to you — $1,299 on Ultimate Reach, or $795 for 30 days with a regional eNewsletter ad.
Choose LawFirmHires if…
- You are hiring paralegals, legal assistants, legal secretaries, intake, docketing, billing or administrative staff — these roles have their own role pages here, next to the attorney openings.
- You want a flat one-time price per post: $199 Standard or $399 Featured at launch pricing, live 30 days, with nothing to sign.
- You want applications to arrive at your own form or inbox — there is no résumé database, and candidates' materials go straight to the firm.
- You are often hiring and prefer a monthly slot plan — $899 a month for 10 live posts or $1,749 for 25 — that you can cancel whenever you choose.
Frequently asked questions
How much does it cost to post a job on Lawjobs.com?
Per the packages on its employers page, $695 to $1,299 per post: High Visibility $695 for a 30-day listing, Extended Reach $795 for 30 days plus a two-week regional ALM eNewsletter ad, and Ultimate Reach $1,299 for 60 days plus eNewsletter and print ads, a search spotlight and partner-network distribution.
By comparison, a LawFirmHires Standard post is $199 one-time at launch pricing.
Is Lawjobs.com worth it for law firms?
It fits attorney searches where a Law.com-network audience, eNewsletter and print exposure matter: the $1,299 Ultimate Reach package bundles an ALM eNewsletter ad and a print ad with the listing, and it self-reports reaching over 1.6 million professionals weekly and 99% of the NLJ 250.
For paralegal, intake, docketing, billing and administrative roles — or a budget-sensitive attorney post — a flat $199 one-time post at launch pricing on a legal-only board is the lower-cost route.
Does Lawjobs.com distribute listings across Law.com?
The site says it powers job listings across the LAW.COM Network, and the publication list it shows includes The American Lawyer, the National Law Journal, the New York Law Journal, Texas Lawyer and The Recorder.
In practice distribution depends on the package: the $1,299 Ultimate Reach package includes a two-week ALM eNewsletter ad, a two-week print ad and complimentary partner-network distribution, while the $795 Extended Reach package includes a two-week regional ALM eNewsletter ad.
What is cheaper than Lawjobs.com for legal job posting?
LawFirmHires posts at $199 (Standard) or $399 (Featured) at launch pricing, one-time with no contract, against Lawjobs.com's $695 to $1,299 per-job packages.
The trade-off is candidate handling: Lawjobs.com includes full resume export and online management of jobs and applicant status, while LawFirmHires sends candidates to your firm's own form or inbox with no résumé database.
Does LawFirmHires have a résumé database like Lawjobs.com?
No. LawFirmHires has no candidate profiles and no résumé database: candidates click Apply and go to the hiring firm's own form or inbox, where résumés, writing samples and references arrive directly.
Lawjobs.com includes full resume export with all three of its packages, which is the better fit if you want résumés managed and exported inside the board.
How long does a Lawjobs.com job posting stay up?
It depends on the package: 60 days on Ultimate Reach ($1,299) and 30 days on Extended Reach ($795) and High Visibility ($695, shown as $765 on its offers page).
LawFirmHires posts run 30 days from purchase; on a slot plan, posts do not expire while the plan is active.
Who owns Lawjobs.com?
The site's footer reads © Copyright ALM Global, LLC trading as Centellic, and it describes itself as part of ALM and as powering job listings across the LAW.COM Network.
LawFirmHires, by contrast, is run by its founder, Gabriel Meierotto, who is not a lawyer.
