Paralegal

Gilman & Bedigian, a law firm serving clients in Maryland, Pennsylvania, Washington, D.C., New Jersey, and Texas is seeking an experienced paralegal to join our personal injury firm. This position provides a valuable and fulfilling career opportunity in a fast-paced legal environment.

It is important that you have the requisite experience and are able to hit the ground running. Your prior experience and skills should include the following:

• 2-3 years minimum experience working in a personal injury law firm (less than this will not be considered)
• Experience with taking intakes, case management, insurance claims, property damage claims, medical records request, demand preparation, and litigation
• Knowledge of medical and insurance terms
• Capable of handling a caseload of between 40-50 active cases
• General computer knowledge is required

Duties range from administrative tasks to dynamic communication with clients and attorneys.

Responsibilities:

• Processing incoming mail
• Acquire and review medical records and bills
• Create Demands and Medical Strategies
• Managing E-filing
• Construct and revise pleadings and motions
• Calendaring and Scheduling
• Communicating with clients and attorneys
• Responsible for 40-50 active cases
• Accurately maintain and update Neos (Case Management Software)

Job Type: Full-time, In-office position

Pay: $25.00-$32.00 per hour
