Responsibilities

• Organize, file, and retrieve patient medical records efficiently within electronic health record (EHR) and electronic medical record (EMR) systems.
• Ensure all medical documentation, including diagnoses, and procedures, is accurately entered and maintained.
• Review medical records for completeness and accuracy, verifying that all necessary information is properly documented for billing and legal purposes.
• Maintain strict confidentiality of patient information in accordance with HIPAA regulations and organizational policies.
• Collaborate with healthcare providers to clarify documentation discrepancies or missing information to ensure precise recordkeeping.

Requirements

• Prior experience in medical records review and interpretation.
• Knowledge of medical terminology, anatomy, and physiology to accurately interpret records.
• Ability to handle sensitive information discreetly while maintaining high levels of accuracy.
• Excellent organizational skills with attention to detail to ensure error-free records management.
• Ability to prioritize tasks independently while working collaboratively within a team environment.

Pay: $15.00 per hour
