Police & Civil Rights Litigation Attorney | Fullerton, CA | Hybrid | 1 Opening

An established California law firm that represents only public agencies is hiring an experienced litigator to handle police and Section 1983 civil rights cases. You'll manage complex matters on your own and serve as first-chair trial counsel.

Pay: $200,000 to $225,000

What you'll do:

• Manage civil rights and police litigation from discovery through trial
• Take depositions and examine witnesses
• Argue motions in state and federal court
• Draft pleadings, motions, and briefs
• Advise public entity clients on legal risk and strategy
• Coordinate experts and lead trial preparation

What we need:

• Active California Bar license
• 10+ years of civil litigation experience
• Police litigation and public entity experience
• First-chair experience in at least 5 Section 1983 trials
• Excellent research and writing skills
• JD from an accredited law school
• Law firm experience (no solo practitioners)

Pay: $200,000.00 - $225,000.00 per year
