McMinn, Fradin, Gray & Logan is a law firm specializing in personal injury and criminal law matters. We're looking for a friendly, organized Intake Specialist to be the first point of contact for our clients and to help keep our office running smoothly.

About the Role
As our Intake Specialist, you'll be the voice of the firm. Your primary responsibility is answering incoming calls and gathering the information our attorneys need to evaluate new matters. You'll also support general office operations and lend a hand to our legal assistants when workloads call for it. This is a great opportunity for someone who enjoys helping people, thrives in a busy environment, and wants to grow within the legal field.

Key Responsibilities

Phone and Client Intake

• Answer and route a high volume of incoming calls in a professional, courteous manner
• Conduct initial intake interviews with prospective clients, gathering case details accurately and compassionately
• Schedule consultations and appointments for attorneys
• Respond to general inquiries and take detailed messages

Legal Assistant Support

• Assist legal assistants with filing, scanning, copying, and document organization
• Help prepare routine correspondence and forms
• Provide backup coverage during busy periods or absences

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required; associate or bachelor's degree a plus
• 1+ years of experience in reception, customer service, call center, or administrative roles is preferred (law firm experience preferred but not required)
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
• Ability to handle sensitive and confidential information with discretion
• Calm, empathetic demeanor when speaking with people who may be stressed or upset
• Ability to multitask and prioritize in a fast-paced environment
• Bilingual [Spanish/English] required
