MG+M The Law Firm (MG+M) is seeking to add a Paralegal to our Transactional Practice Group in the Boston, MA office.
MG+M is a nationally renowned litigation law firm concentrating on complex civil matters with an emerging focus on transactional matters. We approach client service as a unified team, integrating our efforts with those of our clients to advance their interests wherever they do business. Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- Assist attorneys with all aspects of mergers and acquisitions, including due diligence, document organization, and closing preparation
- Conduct and manage due diligence reviews, including tracking and summarizing key findings
- Prepare and organize closing checklists, signature pages, and transaction binders
- Draft and revise corporate documents, including resolutions, formation documents, and governance materials
- Maintain and update corporate records, minute books, and entity management databases
- Coordinate filings with state agencies related to entity formation, registration, and compliance
- Manage large volumes of transactional documents and maintain organized deal files
- Communicate with clients, attorneys, and third parties to facilitate transaction execution
- Support attorneys with legal research and other transactional matters as needed
- Track timelines and key deliverables to ensure timely completion of transactions
Candidate Requirements:
- Minimum of five (5) years of paralegal experience, with a focus on corporate or transactional work
- Bachelor’s degree and/or Paralegal Certificate required
- Experience supporting M&A transactions and corporate governance activities strongly preferred
- Strong understanding of corporate structures, filings, and documentation
- Excellent organizational skills and ability to manage multiple transactions simultaneously
- Strong attention to detail and ability to work in a fast-paced environment
- Effective communication skills with attorneys, clients, and internal teams
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office, legal research tools and document management systems
