Settlement Negotiator

The Opportunity

As our Settlement Negotiator in our Personal Injury department, you will work closely with attorneys and case managers to evaluate claims and negotiate fair, maximized settlements on behalf of our clients. You'll be the driving force behind moving cases toward resolution — communicating directly with insurance adjusters, building the strongest possible case for claim value, and keeping negotiations on track from start to finish. Hands-on training is provided, giving you the tools and guidance to learn our negotiation process and grow in the role.

Accountable For

• Work closely with attorneys and case managers to evaluate claims and negotiate fair settlements on behalf of clients.
• Communicate regularly with insurance adjusters to advance negotiations and resolve claims efficiently.
• Request, track, and organize settlement documents to keep cases moving toward resolution.
• Prepare legal responses and correspondence related to claim negotiations.
• Review case files thoroughly to identify and obtain missing information, records, or documentation.
• Support attorneys in building and maximizing claim value by highlighting key damages, treatment, and supporting evidence.

Qualifications

• Prior experience in personal injury case management, claims negotiation, or insurance claims handling preferred.
• Strong negotiation, persuasion, and verbal communication skills.
• Detail-oriented with the ability to analyze medical records, bills, and damages to build a compelling case for settlement value.
• Highly organized with the ability to manage and prioritize a high volume of active negotiations.
• Comfortable with regular, direct communication with insurance adjusters and other third parties.
• Filevine or similar case management software experience is a plus.
• Bilingual in English and Spanish is a plus.

Compensation

• $28.00 - $38.00 per hour depending on experience
