
Senior University Counsel
Law degree (L.L.B. or J.D.) and seven years' experience as an attorney. Must be a member of the Florida Bar or become a member within twelve months of employment.
Provide legal advice and counseling to UF Advancement and other University units regarding gift- and donation-related issues, including:
Provide legal advice and counseling to University units, including the academic colleges and UF/IFAS, regarding business, academic, and research transactions, as well as corporate and shared governance, including:
Provide legal advice and support, including legislative monitoring and analysis, related to the University’s policy and regulation development processes, including participation in the University Policy Group.
Provide legal advice and counseling to University direct support organizations (DSOs) on matters related to overall organization, governance, and operation.
Provide legal advice and support regarding collegiate athletics matters.
Other duties as assigned.
