  • Understand where each client is in the treatment process and what needs to happen next to move the case forward
  • Obtain and organize medical records, medical bills, accident reports, insurance information, and supporting documentation
  • Communicate with medical providers, insurance adjusters, lienholders, and other third parties
  • Prepare comprehensive settlement demand packages
  • Track demands, deadlines, settlement offers, negotiations, and case milestones
  • Maintain complete and accurate records in the firm's CRM/case management system
  • Work closely and collaboratively with attorneys, other Senior Case Managers, and support staff
  • Participate in case reviews and communicate potential issues, delays, or concerns to the appropriate attorney or team member
  • Proactively follow up on outstanding items and ensure cases do not remain stagnant

Qualifications

  • 4 Years+ personal injury case management experience required
  • Strong experience handling the entire pre-litigation lifecycle of a personal injury case

  • Strong understanding of personal injury medical treatment and how treatment affects the progression and value of a claim
  • Experience preparing settlement demand packages
  • Familiarity with bodily injury claims, insurance coverage, medical records, medical bills, liens, and settlement procedures
  • Ability to communicate professionally and empathetically with clients, including clients who may be frustrated, injured, or unfamiliar with the legal process
