The Role
As a member of this team, you will play a key role in supporting attorneys and legal teams by facilitating the processing, review, and production of electronically stored information (ESI) across Fidelity's data ecosystem. You will partner with counsel to develop customized review workflows, provide strategic guidance on defensible and efficient document review methodologies, and ensure the timely and accurate production of relevant data in accordance with established legal and regulatory requirements.
The successful candidate will thrive in a fast-paced, high-volume environment where strong analytical skills, sound judgment, effective communication, and a comprehensive understanding of the Electronic Discovery Reference Model (EDRM) are critical to success. The ability to manage competing priorities, solve complex challenges, and collaborate effectively with cross-functional stakeholders is essential.
The Expertise and Skills You Bring
The Team
The Legal Department at Fidelity provides guidance, oversight, and strategic counsel to ensure that Fidelity and its associates operate with integrity and in compliance with applicable laws and regulations. Within the department, the Litigation Support team is an integral function, responsible for working with attorneys and other members of the legal team in identification and review of relevant ESI for matters.
Furthermore, they play a critical role in ensuring any relevant ESI can be produced accurately and in a timely manner to third parties.
Together, our teams manage complex legal and compliance issues initiated by customers, regulators, and other stakeholders, including disputes, regulatory inquiries, and litigation, while partnering across the organization to mitigate risk and uphold a culture of accountability and transparency.
Fidelity’s Onsite Working Model
Fidelity is transitioning to a full-time onsite working model through a phased rollout across regions and roles. Currently, some roles and locations require 100% onsite presence, while others require less. Onsite expectations are likely to evolve as the rollout continues. This transition does not apply to fully remote roles.
Please be advised that Fidelity’s business is governed by the provisions of the Securities Exchange Act of 1934, the Investment Advisers Act of 1940, the Investment Company Act of 1940, ERISA, numerous state laws governing securities, investment and retirement-related financial activities and the rules and regulations of numerous self-regulatory organizations, including FINRA, among others. Those laws and regulations may restrict Fidelity from hiring and/or associating with individuals with certain Criminal Histories.
