Probate and Estate Planning Attorney

About Us:

We are a friendly, suburban law firm in Norton, Ohio that is growing and looking to add an associate attorney to our already exceptional staff. The position could be either a part-time or full-time position. The ideal candidate will have prior experience working in the areas of probate law and estate planning.

Job Description:

• Represent and advise clients in the areas of probate estates, guardianships and trust administration, managing their cases from start to finish, complying with all deadlines.
• Analyze the estate planning needs of our clients and prepare appropriate documents, including wills, trusts and powers of attorney.
• Appear in court when necessary.
• Maintain accurate records for billable hours and expenses.
• Uphold the standards of our firm and comply with all relevant ethical and legal regulations.

Qualifications:

• Licensed to practice law in the State of Ohio and in good standing.
• Preferably three or more years’ experience in the areas of probate law and estate planning.
• Excellent attention to detail, organizational abilities and problem-solving skills.

Salary is commensurate with experience. Benefits, including health insurance, paid days off and IRA matching are available dependent upon the number of hours worked.
