Prelitigation Scheduler/Legal Assistant

Our firm is searching for a full-time pre-litigation scheduler to join the practice. Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

• Coordinating and scheduling client meetings, IME’s, inspections, recorded statements.
• Attend client meetings with attorney for proper note taking and maintaining files updated.
• Able to communicate in a timely, effective and respectful manner with opposing counsel, insurance companies and clients.
• Accurately manage attorney’s calendar.
• Verify and confirm attorney’s appointments daily.
• Prepare client letters and misc. correspondence.
• Must be able to work independently as well as under supervision, have excellent communication and writing skills, and be able to handle several important tasks in a timely manner.
• Highly organized with ability to juggle multiple deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
• Prepare client letters, records request from multiple medical providers; calendar follow ups and update system.
• Maintain a medical billing index.
• Must be able to work closely with Case Manager on Personal Injury files
• Strong writing and communication skills along with attention to detail.
• Extensive computer and database expertise.
• High School Diploma or other relevant certification.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: From $23.00 per hour
