Pre-Litigation Case Manager – Personal Injury

Fast paced law office is looking for a Bilingual (Spanish/English) Pre-Litigation Case Manager with experience in Personal Injury Law. We are looking for a candidate who wants to help injured victims achieve justice. Candidates should be familiar with the rules and procedures of Personal Injury Law in Clark County, Nevada and surrounding areas.

As a Pre-Litigation Case Manager on our team you will be responsible for:

• Conducting research to investigate the facts of a case in order to obtain useful information
• Monitoring of medical treatment
• Resolution of Property Damage (PD) claims
• Preparation of legal documents and articles required for case development
• Managing and organizing legal information by ensuring proper archiving or storage on electronic-filing systems
• Collecting, arranging, and preserving evidence and other useful documents required for a legal proceeding
• Contacting clients to update them on the progress of a case as well as reply to their inquiries or forward to an attorney
• Scheduling and arranging client meetings with attorney
• Notifying an attorney or law firm of the time frame or deadlines for case processing
• Establishing good working relationship with clients in order to obtain vital information required in the case
• Responding to clients and obtaining their correspondence in the absence of an attorney
• Other duties as assigned

What you need to be successful in this position:

• Advanced Interpersonal Skills: Pre-Litigation Case Managers interact with a variety of clients, providers, and third parties
• Communication Skills: Well spoken and clear communication
• Critical Thinking / Management Skills: Adept at coordinating and organizing for case load and effective preparation
• Ability to integrate into a fast-paced environment
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office suites (Word, Outlook, and Excel)
• Bilingual in English/Spanish (Required)

Job Type: Full-Time Hourly, Non-Exempt

Experience:

• Personal Injury: 2+ years (Preferred)
• Needles Case Management Software: 6 months (Required)
