Pre-Litigation Attorney

Overview
We are seeking a dynamic and detail-oriented Pre-litigation Attorney to join our legal team. This role offers an exciting opportunity to engage in early case assessment, client communication, and strategic case management across a diverse range of legal areas. The ideal candidate will possess a strong foundation in litigation support, excellent research and writing skills, and a proactive approach to resolving legal matters before they escalate to formal court proceedings. Duties

• Conduct comprehensive legal research using tools such as LexisNexis and Westlaw to support case evaluations and strategy development
• Review, analyze, and organize client documents related to personal injury, employment law, contract disputes, and other civil matters
• Draft legal correspondence, demand letters, settlement proposals, and pleadings with clarity and precision
• Communicate effectively with clients to gather case information, explain legal options, and provide updates on case status
• Assist in preparing cases for trial by organizing evidence, drafting motions, and coordinating with attorneys on litigation strategies
• Evaluate potential claims across multiple practice areas including estate planning, environmental law, immigration law, landlord-tenant law, family law, securities law, tribal law & regulations, patent law, workers' compensation law, general & commercial litigation, employment law, and personal injury law
• Support trial preparation activities such as depositions and procedural filings while ensuring compliance with court rules and deadlines
• Manage legal case files efficiently using case management software to track case progress and document interactions

Skills

• Strong knowledge of procedural law and experience with court depositions and trial preparation
• Excellent legal research skills utilizing LexisNexis and Westlaw platforms
• Proven ability in legal writing, drafting motions, contracts, and correspondence with attention to detail
• Effective negotiation skills for settlement discussions and client advocacy
• Familiarity with multiple practice areas including estate planning, environmental law, immigration law, landlord-tenant law, family law, securities law, tribal law & regulations, patent law, workers' compensation law, employment law cases, personal injury cases, and general litigation
• Ability to analyze complex legal issues quickly and develop strategic solutions
• Exceptional communication skills for client interaction and team collaboration
• Experience with legal case management systems and administrative procedures within a busy law office environment
• Demonstrated research proficiency in statutory laws and procedural rules across jurisdictions

Pay: $80,000.00 - $95,000.00 per year
