Personal Injury Senior Case Manager

Overview

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Personal Injury Senior Case Manager to join our dynamic legal team. Responsibilities

• Manage a caseload of personal injury claims, including auto accidents, slip and falls, and other negligence cases, from initial intake to settlement or trial.
• Conduct thorough client interviews to gather detailed case information and document injuries, damages, and liability.
• Coordinate with medical providers, insurance companies, and expert witnesses to facilitate case development and gather necessary evidence.
• Prepare and review legal documents such as pleadings, discovery requests, settlement agreements, and correspondence with clients and opposing counsel.
• Utilize legal case management systems like PCLaw and iManage to organize case files, track deadlines, and ensure compliance with procedural law requirements.
• Conduct legal research using Westlaw, LexisNexis, and other resources to support case strategy and stay current on relevant laws including civil litigation support.
• Maintain clear communication with clients regarding case status updates, procedural steps, and settlement options while handling confidential information with discretion.
• Collaborate with attorneys on litigation strategies for cases requiring court proceedings or negotiations.
• Prepare detailed reports and documentation for internal review or court submission as needed.

Skills

• Extensive knowledge of personal injury law along with familiarity in related areas such as workers' compensation law and civil litigation support.
• Proven experience in legal research using Westlaw, LexisNexis, and other research tools; strong legal writing and drafting skills.
• Proficiency in legal support software including PCLaw, iManage, Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel), and document management systems.
• Exceptional organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple cases simultaneously while meeting deadlines.
• Strong interviewing skills to extract pertinent case details from clients efficiently.
• Excellent client communication skills coupled with professional phone etiquette and empathetic listening abilities.
• Ability to handle procedural law requirements accurately while maintaining attention to detail during document review and proofreading.
• Experience supporting attorneys in general & commercial litigation contexts; familiarity with UCC law, estate planning, environmental law or tribal law is a plus but not required.
• Demonstrated project management capabilities to coordinate case activities effectively across teams.

Pay: $85,000.00 - $135,000.00 per year
