Personal Injury Paralegal

Job Summary

Busy and growing personal injury law firm in New Jersey is seeking an experienced and dedicated paralegal to manage plaintiff-side personal injury matters from intake through litigation support and settlement. This is an excellent opportunity for a highly organized professional with a deep understanding of personal injury law to take a leading role in client case management at a dynamic and fast-paced firm.

Key Responsibilities:

• Handle all aspects of personal injury cases, including client intake, medical record retrieval, insurance communications, and settlement package preparation.
• Draft pleadings, discovery responses, and correspondence in connection with litigation support.
• Maintain communication with clients, medical providers, insurance adjusters, and opposing counsel to ensure efficient case progression.
• Organize and manage case files, deadlines, and documentation through the case lifecycle.
• Assist attorneys in preparing for depositions, mediations, and trials.
• Monitor case deadlines and ensure compliance with court rules and procedures.
• Provide general administrative support related to personal injury matters.

Qualifications:

• Speaks fluent English and Spanish
• Strong knowledge of personal injury procedures, terminology, and case handling.
• Proven experience managing personal injury cases independently.
• Excellent organizational and multitasking skills with high attention to detail.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a remote setting.
• Proficiency with legal case management software and Microsoft Office Suite.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: From $80,000.00 per year
