Storms Dworak LLC is a Minneapolis plaintiff-side litigation firm seeking an experienced litigation paralegal to join our team.

We represent individuals and families in significant civil matters, including personal injury, medical malpractice, civil rights, sexual abuse, and other complex litigation. We are looking for someone with substantial litigation experience who can work closely with attorneys, take ownership of the day-to-day management of cases, and help ensure our clients receive exceptional service.

This is not simply an administrative support position. We are looking for a paralegal who understands litigation, produces high-quality work, anticipates what needs to happen next, and helps keep cases moving toward resolution.

What You'll Do

As a Litigation Paralegal, you will work closely with attorneys throughout all stages of litigation. Responsibilities will include:

• Drafting pleadings, discovery, subpoenas, correspondence, and other litigation documents for attorney review;
• Managing deadlines, calendars, and litigation tasks to ensure cases continue moving forward;
• Assisting with written discovery and document productions;
• Obtaining, organizing, reviewing, and summarizing records and other evidence;
• Preparing chronologies, damages materials, exhibits, and case summaries;
• Coordinating depositions, mediations, hearings, experts, and other case events;
• Preparing and electronically filing documents in state and federal courts;
• Assisting attorneys with deposition, motion, mediation, and trial preparation;
• Maintaining organized and complete electronic case files;
• Communicating professionally and compassionately with clients, opposing counsel, courts, experts, and third parties;
• Helping ensure clients are kept informed and receive prompt, professional service; and
• Proactively identifying outstanding tasks, upcoming deadlines, and next steps rather than waiting for assignments.

What We're Looking For

Qualified candidates should have:

• Five or more years of litigation paralegal experience;
• Strong drafting, writing, proofreading, and organizational skills;
• Experience managing multiple active litigation matters and competing deadlines;
• Familiarity with state and federal court procedures and electronic filing;
• The ability to work independently while collaborating closely with attorneys and staff;
• Excellent judgment, attention to detail, and follow-through;
• Strong communication and client-service skills; and
• Comfort using technology and electronic case-management systems.

Experience using Clio is a significant plus. Plaintiff-side litigation experience is preferred but not required.

Above all, we are looking for someone who takes ownership of their work. A successful paralegal at Storms Dworak does not simply complete assigned tasks—they understand their cases, anticipate what attorneys and clients will need, identify next steps, and help make sure nothing falls through the cracks.

Compensation & Benefits

The annual salary range for this position is $70,000–$80,000, depending on experience and qualifications.
