Join us and help continue our proud tradition of excellent service to our community.POSITION SUMMARYA Workers’ Compensation Litigation Specialist provides a range of legal support to the Workers’ Compensation Attorney.ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIESThe essential functions include, but are not limited to, the following:Processing litigation issues in accordance with the Firm’s policies and proceduresEnsuring case management software (CMS) feed is cleared dailyCompleting all assigned tasks by relevant deadlinesDocumenting all relevant activity in CMS properlyEnsuring emails are cleared dailyWorking with attorney to accomplish litigation goals and objectives on all assigned casesMeeting with the assigned attorney on a regular basis to review and discuss pending issues in litigationImplementing litigation plans established by the attorneyDrafting the required legal documents and submitting to attorney for final approvalGathering required evidence to support the relevant legal argumentsReturning litigation files to the correct location in the litigation shelvesEnsuring execution and timely filing of all required pleadings, legal documents, and evidenceMonitoring the litigation calendar for deadlines and efficiency and bringing issues or concerns to the attention of the appropriate attorneyWorking with the client to complete and resolve discovery issuesPerforming other duties as assigned
