Responsibilities

• Assist attorneys with all phases of litigation, from case intake through trial preparation, ensuring timely progression of each matter
• Conduct comprehensive legal research using Westlaw, LexisNexis, and other research tools to support case strategies and legal arguments
• Manage and organize large volumes of case files using document management systems such as iManage and PCLaw, maintaining accuracy and confidentiality
• Draft, review, and proofread legal documents including pleadings, discovery requests, subpoenas, and correspondence with meticulous attention to detail
• Coordinate depositions, court filings, hearings, and client meetings while ensuring compliance with procedural law requirements
• Interview clients, witnesses, experts, and other stakeholders to gather relevant information for ongoing cases
• Support attorneys in managing deadlines, court filings, and case tracking through project management tools to ensure seamless workflow

Requirements

• Proven paralegal experience supporting litigation cases across diverse practice areas such as personal injury law, family law, estate planning, or commercial litigation
• Strong knowledge of procedural law and familiarity with civil litigation processes from filing to trial support
• Proficiency in legal research platforms including Westlaw and LexisNexis; experience with legal case management software like iManage or PCLaw is preferred
• Excellent organizational skills with the ability to handle multiple cases simultaneously while maintaining accuracy
• Exceptional written and verbal communication skills for client interaction and internal collaboration
• Demonstrated ability to handle confidential information discreetly and professionally
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook) along with document review and proofreading skills
• Experience with legal drafting, document management systems, filing procedures, and court protocols is highly desirable
• Strong research capabilities combined with a proactive approach to problem-solving in a fast-paced environment
