Who We Need: Our litigation team is looking for an associate attorney with 2 to 5 years of relevant experience to work in our property insurance litigation, antitrust, and subrogation practice groups. We are looking for a lawyer who is hard working, self-motivated, able to work in a fast-paced legal environment, and contributes to our positive culture.

Key Responsibilities:

• Candidate should be familiar with all phases of discovery.
• Prepare dispositive motions.
• Conduct examinations and depositions under oath.
• Conduct extensive document review in sophisticated commercial litigation.
• Investigate and litigate arson and other fraudulent insurance claims.

Qualifications:

• Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree from an accredited law school.
• Admitted to the New York State Bar.
• 0-2 years of experience, with a background in litigation.
• Strong legal research, writing, and analytical skills.
• Exceptional attention to detail and organizational abilities.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to manage and prioritize multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.
• Collaborative attitude and willingness to learn from experienced attorneys.
• Proficiency in legal research tools and technology.

Work Environment & Physical Requirements:

• This position is primarily performed in an office setting and involves extended periods of sitting, working at a computer, and communicating via phone and email, with or without reasonable accommodation.
• The role may require occasional standing, walking, and light lifting (e.g., files or office materials up to approximately 10–20 pounds), with or without reasonable accommodation.
• Ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities in a dynamic work environment, with or without reasonable accommodation.

Pay: $100,000.00 - $110,000.00 per year
