About the Firm

Our boutique Los Angeles-based law firm seeks an experienced Litigation Attorney to join our team. We primarily represent clients in real estate and business litigation.

We need an attorney who is confident managing cases from inception through resolution, including discovery, depositions, motion practice, negotiations, and trial.

The Opportunity

This is an opportunity to take a meaningful role in a diverse and sophisticated litigation practice while working in a professional, collaborative environment. The ideal candidate is a strong advocate who can independently manage matters while working effectively with colleagues and clients.

Key Responsibilities

Develop and execute case strategy in real estate and business disputes.
Conduct and defend depositions.
Draft pleadings, motions, briefs, discovery, and other litigation documents.
Conduct legal research and develop persuasive legal arguments.
Represent clients in hearings, settlement negotiations, and trial proceedings.
Work directly with clients and opposing counsel.
Collaborate with attorneys and staff to effectively advance client matters.

Qualifications

Active California Bar license and eligibility to practice in California.
Minimum 5 years of litigation experience, specifically in business or real estate litigation.
At least 20 depositions taken or defended.
At least 3 trials as first chair or predominant responsibility as a second-chair.
Excellent legal research, writing, negotiation, and oral advocacy skills.
Ability to independently manage cases while contributing effectively to a collaborative team.
