Duties

• Manage all phases of litigation, including case investigation, pleadings, discovery, motion practice, trial preparation, and post-trial procedures.
• Conduct thorough legal research using LexisNexis and Westlaw to support case strategies across multiple practice areas such as personal injury, employment law, and medical malpractice.
• Draft and review legal documents including contracts, pleadings, motions, depositions summaries, and client correspondence with precision and clarity.
• Prepare for court depositions and assist in trial preparation by organizing evidence, developing witness strategies, and coordinating with expert witnesses.
• Engage in client communication to update on case progress and gather necessary information for ongoing litigation efforts.
• Perform statutory legal research to ensure compliance with procedural laws and relevant statutes governing each case.
• Support the legal team in court motions preparation, legal advocacy efforts, and case management activities to streamline workflow and maximize efficiency.

Requirements

• Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school with admission to the state bar.
• Proven experience in litigation including personal injury cases, employment disputes, or general civil litigation.
• Strong knowledge of procedural laws and familiarity with court depositions process.
• Demonstrated expertise in legal research tools such as LexisNexis and Westlaw.
• Excellent legal writing skills with the ability to draft clear and persuasive motions and pleadings.
• Effective negotiation skills for settlement discussions and client advocacy.
• Experience with contract drafting, trial preparation, and legal case management software is preferred.
• Exceptional research capabilities combined with strong organizational skills to manage multiple cases efficiently.

Pay: $100,000.00 - $150,000.00 per year
