Kjar, McKennaStockalper, LLP is seeking a professional, dependable, and service-oriented Temporary Legal Receptionist to support our Huntington Beach office. This role serves as the first point of contact for clients, visitors, and guests while helping maintain the day-to-day operations of a busy law office. The ideal candidate is organized, detail-oriented, and committed to providing exceptional customer service in a professional environment.

What You'll Do

• Serve as the first point of contact for clients, visitors, vendors, and job candidates by answering phones, greeting guests, and maintaining a professional front desk environment.
• Manage incoming and outgoing mail, deliveries, courier packages, and other general office support tasks.
• Prepare, stock, schedule, and maintain conference rooms for meetings and events, ensuring rooms are clean, organized, and ready for use.
• Maintain the reception area, kitchen, coffee station, and other common areas, ensuring supplies are stocked and the office remains presentable throughout the day.
• Assist with administrative projects, office initiatives, and special assignments as needed.
• Handle confidential information with professionalism and discretion.
• Perform opening and closing duties, including preparing the office for daily operations and securing reception and common areas at the end of the day.

What We're Looking For

• Previous receptionist, administrative, customer service, or front desk experience required.
• Law firm or professional services experience preferred.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Strong organizational and multitasking abilities.
• Professional demeanor and customer-focused attitude.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office and Outlook.
• Ability to work independently while contributing to a collaborative team environment.
• Reliable attendance, punctuality, and strong attention to detail.

Position Details

• Temporary full-time position
• Monday through Friday
• On-site in our Huntington Beach office

Compensation

$25.00 - $28.00 per hour, depending on experience.
