Job Summary: Legal Intake Specialist in Office full time.

Huth, Pratt & Milhauser is a well-established Florida law firm focused on probate, trust, and estate administration and litigation, seeking an experienced Legal Intake Specialist to join its growing team.

Key Responsibilities: The Intake Specialist acts as the primary point of contact for new or potential clients, gathering essential case details, and screening leads to determine if they match the firm's practice criteria.

• Answering Inquiries: Handle inbound phone calls, emails, and web forms from prospective clients with professionalism.
• Screening and Qualifying Leads: Ask targeted questions using firm scripts or guidelines to check if a case aligns with the firm’s specialty and qualifications.
• Gathering Information & Documentation: Collect crucial facts and enter them accurately into the case management system
• Scheduling and Coordinating: Book consultations or appointments for attorneys, and facilitate initial retainer and intake paperwork
• Client Communication: Explain basic firm processes, answer non-legal questions, and provide a supportive first impression
• Minimum 3 years of experience as a Legal Intake Specialist
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Strong active listening and note taking skills
• Proficiency with computers, office applications, and database/case management software
• Strong organization, multi-tasking, and high attention to detail

- Pay commensurate with experience from $25-$30/hour for 40 hours in office
