Legal Assistant/Receptionist

Key Responsibilities

• Greet clients, visitors, and vendors with a warm, professional demeanor, representing the company positively through professional appearance, conduct, and communication.
• Answer, screen, and route incoming calls; take accurate messages
• Manage the front desk, lobby area, and conference room scheduling
• Handle incoming and outgoing mail, deliveries, and courier services
• Assist with client intake, including gathering preliminary information
• Maintain and update client files (physical and digital) in accordance with firm procedures
• Support attorneys and staff with administrative tasks such as scanning, copying, filing, and data entry
• Coordinate appointments, meetings, and calendar updates including logging into Zoom/Teams calls
• Ensure confidentiality and compliance with legal and ethical standards
• Maintain office supplies and assist with general office organization

Qualifications

• Prior experience as a receptionist, administrative assistant, or customer‑facing role in the legal field
• Knowledge of how to use Pacer, MCRO, EEOC Portal and other league filing websites.
• Capable with office equipment (copy machine, shredder, phones.)
• Strong verbal and written communication skills
• Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail
• Ability to multitask and prioritize in a busy environment
• Proficiency with office software (Microsoft Office, case management systems, internet research)
• Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information
• AI experiences/willing to learn is a plus

Pay: $18.00 - $22.00 per hour
