Legal Assistant

Responsibilities

• Draft, transcribe, and review legal documents including pleadings, motions, and briefs.
• Maintain organized case files and documentation for easy access and reference
• Support litigation efforts by preparing exhibits and trial materials.
• Communicate with clients, and other parties involved in cases as needed.
• Perform clerical tasks including filing, data entry, and managing schedules.

Experience

• Previous experience in a legal support role is preferred.
• Familiarity with Defense Liability and Construction Litigation is a plus.
• Strong writing skills with the ability to transcribe complex information accurately.
• Excellent organizational skills with attention to detail.
• Ability to work collaboratively within a team while also being self-motivated.

Pay: $23.00 - $25.00 per hour
