Interns will take on a variety of projects critical for the development and litigation of potential and current cases, as well as become involved in our constitutional space. They will work closely with Brady lawyers to draft memos, briefs, and reports on assigned topics, conduct research, and delve into some of the most rapidly developing areas of law. They will garner knowledge of several of our current liability cases and amicus portfolio. They will be part of the innovative and academically stimulating environment that helps to create strong gun violence prevention precedent throughout the country.
Our interns will support Brady’s impact driven civil lawsuits on behalf of victims, survivors and communities impacted by gun violence. Interns will gain hands-on litigation experience and will support all phases of legal advocacy, including working with victims of gun violence, developing new cases, helping prepare for trial and depositions, assisting with discovery, monitoring and exploring developments in gun violence litigation, participating in strategy sessions, and conducting legal and factual research. Interns will also have the opportunity to help conduct research for amicus briefs, track and analyze constitutional law issues (including the Second Amendment). Finally, our interns will be able to assist in our racial justice research.
Brady is looking for law students who are passionate about gun violence prevention, impact litigation, and racial justice.
