Position Summary
We are seeking a motivated, organized, and detail-oriented Junior Attorney & Contract Associate to support our government-contracting operations and driver-support services. This hybrid role is ideal for an early-career attorney or legal professional interested in gaining hands-on experience with government contracts, contract administration, legal research, document preparation, client matters, and court-related support.
The successful candidate should possess strong research and writing skills, excellent professional judgment, and the ability to manage multiple matters and deadlines simultaneously.
Key Responsibilities
Qualifications
Candidates should have a J.D. from an accredited law school or comparable legal/contract experience. Recent law school graduates and early-career attorneys are encouraged to apply. Admission to a state bar is preferred, and candidates should clearly identify the jurisdiction(s) in which they are currently licensed.
The ideal candidate will have excellent legal research, analytical, writing, proofreading, and communication skills; strong attention to detail; the ability to independently manage deadlines; and proficiency with Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook, Adobe Acrobat, and online research platforms. Familiarity with SAM.gov, federal acquisition, government contracting, small claims/civil court procedures, rideshare/gig-economy matters, or contract administration is a plus.
Ideal Candidate
We are looking for someone who is dependable, professional, resourceful, and comfortable working in a fast-paced environment where assignments may shift between government-contracting projects and individual client matters. The candidate should know when an issue requires additional legal research, attorney review, or escalation rather than making assumptions.
Why Join Us?
This position provides an opportunity to develop experience across government contracting, business operations, client advocacy, contract administration, and legal support. The role offers exposure to real-world matters while allowing a developing legal professional to strengthen research, drafting, client-management, and contract skills.
