Immigration Paralegal

Job Summary

The Romero Firm is seeking a dedicated and experienced Immigration Paralegal to join our legal team. We handle family-based immigration, removal defense, and related immigration matters with professionalism and compassion.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and organize immigration applications, petitions, and supporting evidence.
• Communicate with clients in English and Spanish to gather documentation and provide case updates.
• Draft correspondence and assist attorneys with filings before USCIS, EOIR, and other agencies.
• Maintain case management systems and ensure deadlines are met.
• Collaborate with attorneys and other team members in a fast-paced, client-focused environment.

Requirements

• Minimum 1 year of experience in immigration law (family-based, adjustment of status, consular processing, VAWA, U visa, asylum, or removal defense).
• Fluent in English and Spanish (verbal and written).
• Highly organized, detail-oriented, and punctual.
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
• Ability to manage multiple cases and deadlines effectively.
