We’re hiring a Family Law Attorney to join our growing team.

Dominion Law is a young, modern, tech-forward law firm in Waterville, Maine. We’re a three-attorney, family-owned firm focused primarily on family law, criminal defense, and estate planning.

Our family-law practice is established and exceedingly busy, and we’re looking to add a second family-law attorney to the team.

What makes this position different?

We think you can have independence without being on your own.

You’ll have the autonomy to manage your cases and practice law in the way that works best for you, while having a team available when you want another perspective, need help with an issue, or just want to talk through a difficult case.

We provide the leads. You don't have to spend your days worrying about where your next client is coming from.

We offer a base salary plus commission. Your compensation reflects both the stability of a salary and the opportunity to earn more as you handle cases.

And because we’re a relatively young firm, we don’t have a lot of the traditional law-firm bureaucracy that can make practicing law unnecessarily difficult.

Who we're looking for

We’re looking for a Maine-licensed attorney (in good standing) who enjoys family law and wants to practice in an environment that is independent, collaborative, modern, and genuinely approachable.

We're less concerned with whether you fit the traditional image of a lawyer and more interested in finding someone who is a good attorney, takes care of their clients, communicates well, cares about this community, and would be a good addition to our team.

Experience practicing family law is preferred.

We currently have three attorneys, with dedicated practices in family law, criminal defense, and estate planning. We're growing intentionally and looking to add another attorney to our family-law team.

We're not trying to become a giant firm. We want to build a great place to practice law — one where attorneys have room to work independently, help each other when needed, and use modern technology to make the practice of law better.
