Our team of attorneys, legal assistants, and administrative staff works in a collegial, fast-paced environment and is committed to providing excellent representation and support to every client.

We are seeking an experienced Immigration Case Manager to join our team. This is a great opportunity for someone who is organized, dependable, bilingual, and experienced in immigration case management or removal defense work.

What You’ll Do

In this role, you will help oversee immigration cases, support attorneys and legal assistants, and ensure cases continue moving forward efficiently.

Responsibilities include:

· Oversee and track case status through case management and billing systems.

· Provide monthly updates on case statuses and production to the office manager and CEO.

· Monitor the status of filed applications and petitions before various agencies.

· Provide ongoing guidance, coaching, and support to legal assistants.

· Demonstrate a strong understanding of immigration court practices before EOIR, BIA and federal circuits.

· Support attorneys handling cases before various government agencies.

· Contact government officials and immigration courts to obtain necessary information and notify the supervising attorney of potential delays or problems.

· Meet regularly with legal assistants to review caseloads.

· Conduct biannual performance reviews with legal assistants.

· Manage a diverse caseload of immigration matters, including family-based petitions, employment visas, asylum applications, and naturalization processes.

· Support team members with legal drafting, proofreading, and document management tasks to ensure high-quality submissions.

· Other duties as assigned.

What We’re Looking For

The ideal candidate will:

· Have 1–2 years of immigration case management experience or 2–3 years of experience in removal defense cases.

· Be fluent in Spanish and English, including speaking, reading, and writing.

· Be able to work respectfully and professionally with diverse communities.

· Have experience in a professional office setting.

· Have strong written and verbal communication skills.

· Be highly organized, efficient, and reliable.

· Be able to work in a fast-paced environment.

· Have a strong work ethic.

· Have experience with Microsoft Office and the ability to learn new programs quickly and independently.

Experience

· Have 1–2 years of immigration case management experience or 2–3 years of experience in removal defense cases.

Education

· Bachelor’s degree required.

Salary

· Pay is commensurate with experience, starting at $70,304.00 a year for full time employees.

Physical Requirements

· Type, grasp, grip, push, and pull file drawers and doors

· Bend, stoop, kneel, or stand to access files and documents

· Lift up to 15 lbs. of files or boxes
