Defense Litigation Associate

To support our continued success, we are seeking an experienced Litigation Associate to join our team.

Preg O’Donnell & Gillett is seeking a Defense Litigation Associate with approximately 3 years of litigation experience to join our Portland office located in the historic KOIN Tower. This Litigation Associate will work both independently and collaboratively to provide direct support to clients on a variety of defense litigation cases, including:

• Business Litigation
• Construction Law
• Data Breach & Security Response
• Hospitality & Food-Borne Illness Litigation
• Motor Vehicle Accidents
• Premises Liability
• Product Liability
• Professional Liability
• Real Estate Litigation
• Toxic Tort / Asbestos Litigation
• Transportation & Trucking Law

What We’re Looking For

• Juris Doctor (JD) from an accredited law school
• Membership in the Oregon State Bar is required, and membership in the Washington State Bar is preferred.
• Strong drafting, writing and legal research skills
• Excellent client relationship and interpersonal skills
• Law firm and case management experience including depositions, motions practice, and trial experience
• School law or public entity defense experience is preferred but not required.
• Strong judgment, high ethical standards and professional maturity

Salary: $110K-130K annually, DOE.
