Position Overview

A leading national litigation practice group is seeking a mid-level associate to join its Complex Litigation team in the Seattle office. The candidate will work on high-stakes, high-profile commercial disputes across various industries as part of a multi-disciplinary, collaborative national team.

Key Responsibilities

• Case Management: Oversee day-to-day litigation operations and manage discovery processes.
  
  

• Drafting: Author pleadings, dispositive motions, briefs, and discovery requests/responses.
  
  

• Depositions & Court: Take and defend depositions and assist with hearing or trial preparations.
  
  

• Legal Research: Conduct complex legal research and draft analytical memoranda on substantive and procedural issues.
  
  

Candidate Qualifications

• Class Year: JD Class of 2022 to 2024.
  
  

• Experience: Experience managing key aspects of commercial litigation in a law firm setting. AI-related legal or technical experience is preferred but not required.
  
  

• Licensure: Currently licensed, or eligible to become licensed, to practice law in the state of Washington.
  
  

• Required Documents: Resume, law school transcript, and legal writing sample.
  
  

• Credentials: Strong research, writing, and litigation skill set with high academic standing.
  
  

Compensation & Benefits

• Salary Range: $235,000 – $310,000 (Base salary, commensurate with experience)
  
  

• Bonus: Eligible for firm bonus programs
