Case Manager Assistant-Personal Injury

Overview

Law Office of W. Daniel Grist, PLLC is seeking a Personal Injury Case Manager Assistant to support our pre-litigation team and help ensure cases move efficiently from intake through settlement. This role is ideal for someone with foundational personal injury experience who is eager to grow their legal career while gaining hands-on experience alongside experienced case managers and attorneys.

Duties

• Assist Case Managers with pre-litigation personal injury matters.
• Open and maintain insurance claims under the supervision of Case Managers.
• Request, organize, and track medical records, billing, and supporting documentation.
• Maintain organized case files, records, and correspondence.
• Track treatment status, deadlines, and outstanding case items.
• Assist with demand package preparation, including medical records, billing summaries, and exhibits.

Requirements

• 1+ year of experience in a personal injury law firm or legal support role preferred.
• Basic understanding of personal injury claims, medical records, and insurance processes.
• Strong organizational and time-management skills.
• Excellent attention to detail and follow-through.
• Professional written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while managing multiple responsibilities.
• Strong work ethic and willingness to learn.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with Neos or Needles case management software.
• Interest in growing into a Personal Injury Case Manager role.
