Potts-Dupre, Hawkins & Kramer, Chtd., is a small collegial firm based in Washington, D.C. representing large labor unions, Taft-Hartley pension and health and welfare plans. We are seeking an associate-level attorney for our complex employee benefits practice. The position requires excellent academic credentials, strong writing and analytic skills, and the ability to work well in a collaborative environment. The ideal candidate will have approximately 1 to 3 years of experience in one or more of the following areas:

· ERISA Title I investment/fiduciary matters

· Health law regulatory compliance

· Multiemployer plan administration (e.g., benefit claims, QDROs, collection of delinquent contributions, withdrawal liability)

· Litigation

· General securities law and commercial transactional work

· Tax-qualification of retirement plans/tax-exempt organizations
