We strive to promote from within, offering excellent career advancement opportunities for high achievers.Responsibilities of Associate Attorneys includeCommunicate effectively and appropriately with team members and outside partiesDraft, review, and file legal pleadings, motions, discovery, etc., in furtherance of active litigation filesReview litigation case files and pleadings to determine appropriate actionAdvocate on behalf of the client’s interests at various litigation settingsUtilize internal proprietary software to properly update and document the status of each account in the assigned inventoryAnalyze and process litigation inventory reports and litigation files, as assigned by the Managing Attorney, to ensure that proper litigation workflow is being performed pursuant to the firm and client expectationsComply with all client and firm standard operating proceduresAbility to travel to various courtrooms within the branch office footprint as requiredPrepare for and represent clients at hearings, mediations, arbitrations, and trials, including case strategy development, drafting pleadings, conducting discovery, and presenting oral argumentsNegotiate settlements with consumers and their legal representatives to resolve disputes efficiently while protecting client interestsEvaluate case merits, assess risk exposure, and provide strategic legal recommendationsMaintain compliance with applicable laws, regulations, and court proceduresPerform other duties as assigned
