We are seeking an experienced Associate Attorney to join our growing Professional Liability practice groups. Position Summary

The Associate Attorney will play a key role in managing and supporting matters involving civil litigation, administrative proceedings, licensing board actions, and regulatory compliance issues. The ideal candidate will possess strong analytical, advocacy, and case management skills, along with a demonstrated background in litigation defense.

Essential Responsibilities

• Represent clients in civil litigation, administrative hearings, licensing board proceedings, and regulatory matters.
• Conduct legal research, analysis, and case evaluations.
• Draft pleadings, motions, briefs, discovery, and other legal documents.
• Prepare for and participate in depositions, mediations, hearings, and trials as needed.
• Advise clients regarding risk management, compliance obligations, and preventative legal strategies.
• Manage cases effectively while maintaining high standards of client service and communication.

Qualifications

• Juris Doctor (J.D.) from an accredited law school.
• Active membership in the California State Bar in good standing.
• Minimum of five (5) years of litigation experience required.
• Experience with professional liability, employment law, administrative law, or licensing board matters is highly preferred.
• Experience with NetDocuments (NetDocs) is a plus.
• Strong legal research, writing, advocacy, and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work both independently and collaboratively in a hybrid work environment.

Pay: $150,000.00 - $175,000.00 per year
