Job Overview
We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Associate Attorney to join our dedicated legal team. This role offers an exciting opportunity to work on a diverse range of cases across multiple practice areas, including estate planning, environmental law, family law, securities law, and more. You will play a vital role in case research, legal writing, client communication, and trial preparation. The ideal candidate is eager to develop their skills in litigation and legal advocacy while contributing to impactful legal solutions.

Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive legal research using tools such as LexisNexis and Westlaw to support case strategies across various practice areas
• Draft legal documents including contracts, motions, pleadings, and depositions with precision and clarity
• Assist in trial preparation by organizing evidence, preparing witnesses for court depositions, and developing case strategies
• Manage case files efficiently using legal case management systems to ensure timely updates and compliance
• Communicate effectively with clients to provide updates, gather information, and clarify legal options
• Support attorneys during court proceedings by participating in procedural law applications and legal negotiations
• Perform statutory legal research related to employment law, tribal regulations, patent law, or other relevant fields as needed

Requirements

• Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school; admission to the state bar is required
• Demonstrated experience or strong interest in multiple practice areas such as estate planning, environmental law, family law, securities law, workers' compensation law, or litigation
• Proven ability to conduct thorough legal research using LexisNexis and Westlaw platforms
• Excellent writing skills with experience in legal drafting and motion preparation
• Strong analytical skills with attention to detail in case management and procedural tasks
• Effective communication skills for client interaction and team collaboration
• Prior law office experience is preferred but not mandatory; a proactive attitude toward learning is essential
