Associate Attorney

Job Summary

We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented associate attorney to join our dynamic Workers Compensation legal team. In this unique role, you will be responsible for managing workers' compensation claims. Your expertise will help ensure fair resolution of cases while maintaining compliance with relevant laws and regulations. This position offers an exciting opportunity in a fast-paced Billing and Collection environment committed to justice and client advocacy.

Responsibilities

• Manage a caseload of workers' compensation claims from inception through resolution, including investigation, billing, payments, denials, negotiation, and litigation.
• Provide clear legal advice to clients regarding their rights, obligations, and potential outcomes related to workers’ compensation laws.
• Prepare and file legal documents, including pleadings, motions, and settlement agreements, ensuring accuracy and adherence to procedural law requirements.
• Supervise daily operations ensuring timely processing and accurate documentation of Worker’s Compensation CLAIMS
• Coordinate with attorneys and paralegals to prioritize caseloads, assign tasks, and monitor progress to meet firm deadlines.
• Oversee the review and organization of legal documents using document management system.
• Maintain comprehensive case files through meticulous data entry, filing, and document review while ensuring confidentiality and security protocols are followed.
• Provide executive administrative support by coordinating meetings, managing calendars, and handling administrative tasks related to legal case workflows.

Knowledge of CMS 1500 Forms

ICD-10 / CPT Codes

Knowledge of WC MTG Guidelines
