Associate Attorney

Job Overview

Fran Murphy Law is a local personal injury firm that treats clients like neighbors. We're growing and looking for an associate attorney who wants real case responsibility and a direct line to the firm's founder.

What you'll do

• Manage a caseload of personal injury matters from intake through resolution
• Meet with clients, gather records, and keep clients updated on their cases
• Draft pleadings, motions, and demand letters
• Negotiate with insurance carriers and opposing counsel
• Handle discovery, depositions, and court appearances

What we're looking for

• Licensed to practice law in Michigan, in good standing
• 3 to 5 years of litigation experience, personal injury preferred
• Strong writing and negotiation skills
• Comfortable talking with people who are stressed, hurt, or overwhelmed
• Organized and able to manage multiple deadlines

Pay: $70,000.00 per year
