Position Summary
We are seeking a skilled and motivated attorney with 4+ years of experience in construction law and business law practice. The attorney will handle matters from early-stage counseling through trial and appeal, working closely with firm partners while developing their own client relationships and sharpening their legal experience.

Key Responsibilities

• Represent clients in construction disputes, including construction defects, delay, payment, and lien claims, as well as negligence and liability matters
• Advise businesses on entity formation, corporate governance, contracts, general business matters, and disputes
• Draft and negotiate construction contracts, subcontracts, operating agreements, and other business documents
• Manage litigation from case intake through trial, including pleadings, discovery, motions, depositions, and mediation
• Conduct legal research and prepare clear written analysis for clients and supervising attorneys
• Communicate regularly with clients, opposing counsel, experts, and insurers
• Participate in business development and professional association activities to assist with growth of the attorney’s practice

Qualifications

• Juris Doctor (JD) from an accredited law school
• Member in good standing of The Florida Bar
• At least 4 years of experience in construction law, business law, or civil litigation
• Strong research, writing, and oral advocacy skills
• Ability to manage multiple matters and work collaboratively with a team
